Does the site currently use cookies?

The site has Google Tag Manager (GTM) installed, a Google tool that allows the site's measurement tags to be managed centrally. Through GTM, a Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tag is currently active, installing cookies for analytics purposes. Additionally, the site has Meta Pixel installed directly (not through GTM), for advertising purposes. Both are detailed below, and both are subject to the User's consent as described in the "Consent" section.

Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4

_ga — Purpose: distinguishes site users for statistical purposes. Duration: 2 years. Set by: Google.

_ga_<property ID> — Purpose: maintains the user's session state within Google Analytics 4. Duration: 2 years. Set by: Google.

Advertising cookies: Meta Pixel

_fbp — Purpose: identifies browsers for the purpose of measuring and personalizing advertising on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) platforms. Duration: 3 months. Set by: Meta.

_fbc — Purpose: records that the User arrived at the site through a Meta ad, for advertising attribution purposes. Duration: 3 months. Set by: Meta. Only set when applicable.

These cookies allow Lumo to measure the performance of its advertising campaigns on Meta platforms and, where applicable, to build advertising audiences. For further information, see Meta's Cookie Policy.

Local storage: scroll position

The site uses sessionStorage — a browser-local storage mechanism, technically distinct from a cookie — for the sole purpose of remembering the User's scroll position when navigating between sections of the site. Such storage is strictly functional in nature: it does not identify individuals, is not transmitted to any server or shared with third parties, and is cleared upon closing the browser tab. As it is strictly necessary for the operation of the site, it does not require the User's consent under the GDPR or similar regulations.

Consent

When visiting the site, the User is shown a banner allowing them to accept all cookies, accept only strictly necessary cookies, or choose their preferences for each category (analytics, advertising) individually. Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel are only activated once the User has granted the corresponding consent; the User may change their choice at any time by clearing the site's local storage in their browser.

Managing cookies through the browser

Most browsers allow cookies to be blocked or deleted through their privacy settings (for example, in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge, by searching for "cookies" within Settings).
